PLEASE NOTE!  SOLEX CARBURETTORS
It is common knowledge that R.A.G. carburettors were fitted to early
SS cars as standard equipment.  This was also known to be a very troublesome
component, usually replaced at a later stage.  We have documentation at hand
that suggest that a Solex conversion was available as detailed on PLATE RS
of our Catalogue, however, we do not know at this stage if this was offered
as a factory approved conversion  or marketed by Solex. The fact is that many
of the SS1 cars still in existence today, are fitted with this same conversion.
R.A.G. CARBURETTORS:
Tooling for a very much improved but authentic looking version of this carb are in production
